Screen changer is a manual or automatic switching device that includes one or more screens for filtering out foreign particles and impurities when plasticizing materials. The filter screen is supported by an alloy porous plate, which is installed on a plate or column carrier. The carrier can be moved to switch between the working position of a system and the offline non-working position. The screen changer can be installed on any new or existing extruder, melt pump, reactor or other extrusion production line. It can be used to filter any type of polymer, rubber or ceramic melt.

The screen changer can be divided three type from changing screen degree of automation.

1. manual screen changer

2.hydraulic automatic screen changer

3.blet type automatic screen changer
